Birthday bits

Recently, I've been trying other avenues to getting stuff published. Birthday and greetings cards seem like a half-decent chance, so I've been working along those sorts of ideas. I've already had positive feedback from one company, so perhaps there's something in this.

Satire again

And this was the other idea I liked enough to draw up all posh-like. There was a minor story about the Tories complaining about the labelling of meat, so I (hilariously) tied it into the old "cricket test" that Tebbit came up with for determining if immigrants really were English enough.

Satire, eh?

So earlier this week I saw that the New Statesman were looking for new cartoonists. At first, I was interested, and that evening I tried to come up with something based on the day's news. They were okay, but after a bit of thought, I wondered if my style was quite what they wanted. They seemed to be after a more draughtsman-like type of illustration. Anyway, this is what I came up with.
