The Institute for Knowing Things #8

The Institute for Knowing Things is usually published in the UK magazine The Skeptic, but a couple of days ago I come up with an idea that wouldn't really suit the magazine so here it is.

Quick news about getting published

Ages ago I mentioned, at least I think I did, that the Institute for Knowing Things had been accepted by the UK subscription-only magazine The Skeptic for their redesign and relaunch.

Well, the relaunch is finally out and at TAM London, I was able to get hold of a copy and admire my work.

The Institute for Knowing Things #2

The idea of this strip was that frames one and two would be factually correct, and the last frame would be an amusing, if untrue, consequence of the first two.

I learnt about the use of children's toys in Cold War discussions in a TV documentary I happened to watch about twenty years ago. I've not been able to find any supporting evidence on t'internet since then, but I like to think it's true.

The Institute for Knowing Things #1

This strip sort of replaced the Gentlemen Scientists after I decided to drop their six frame format. It's similar in that it's very wordy and is sort of based on being clever.
