It's the cat's meow #68

This is based on something I've noticed myself doing more and more these days - of getting an idea into my head and thinking it over, becoming more and more irate, before I've even bothered to check if the original idea is true.

Of course, I didn't actually come up trumps first time and I had to tweak the "name" of the woman before I got a decent percentage. While I was doing that, though, I thought it'd be easier to change the name of the man, since I've never used it in a strip - only used it in notes and character outlines - so no one would ever really know I'd changed it just for the sake of this one joke. But I refused. Some stupid purist part of me insisted that if his name was Will, then that's how it is and the joke would just have to work around that.

For the record, the woman in this strip is Ella, the one with the wavy hair is Roz and the one in the sari is Sumitra.

It's the cat's meow #65

Boy, did I ever have problems trying to explain what I was thinking at the start. Does anyone else remember these from childhood? Think of someone you fancy, take the number of Ls, Os, Vs, Es and Ss in your names, then keep adding the digits together to make a percentage. Like this

3, 2, 1, 3, 2
(3+2), (2+1), (1+3), (3+2)
5, 3, 4, 5
(5+3), (3+4), (4+5)
8, 7, 9
(8+7), (7+9)
15, 16
(1+5), (5+1), (1+6)
...

And so on. So of a reverse Pascal's Triangle. Anyway, I've no idea what they were called so I had to spell it out in a rather wordy opening frame.
