The Research of Tom Purdoo #3

In order that my blog is more visible to search engines, I'm going to start putting the text of the strip in the comments section.

Life Drawing #4

Strange one this week. Was quite tired after an evening before of geeky board gaming, and the first model had a tiny iPod in her hair, which was fair enough, but you're not supposed to reach up mid pose and look for a track you like.

Then in the second half of the evening, I got my favourite model, but what with the tiredness and all, didn't really do that well.

Life drawing #3

Not a great life drawing session this week. After the week off, I seemed a bit out of practice. I got a couple of nice sketches, but in the second half of the evening, after the models had changed round, I was in a group with two male models. Now, I don't have anything against male models, but these two were pretty boring to draw.

Additionally, the last pose I got was of one of them lying on the floor, legs akimbo, pretty much directly in front of me. I know I should think of it as a technical challenge of how to capture to weight and form, but it's hard to deal with anything much when you have an old man's cock and balls pointing straight at you.
