Lord John Hervey (1696-1743) was an exciting man who said in 1732 the Prince of Wales got his mistress up the duff. The Royal Family were very upset.

But soon the King and Queen forgave him and became his close friends. This made the prince very sad and he would not visit his mummy.

After the Queen died, John refused a pension from the King and joined the opposition, speaking against the royals in parliament. Amazingly, no one chopped of his head.
